And I got some GREAT NEWS for you! Jesus told the people of His day this:

“Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will RAISE [Gk: ‘(through the idea of collecting (gather, bring together, amass, assemble, accumulate, pull together, save) one’s faculties {sense, power, ability, give, talent, knack, staff}); to waken (get up, stir, kindle) (transitive or intransitive), i.e. rouse (provoke, incite, revive, move) (literal from sleep, from sitting or lying, from disease, from death; or figurative from obscurity, inactivity, ruins, nonexistence):—awake, lift (up), raise (again, up), rear up, (a-) rise (again, up), stand, take up’] IT UP. Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou REAR [same definition above from the word ‘RAISE’] IT UP in three days? But He spake of the temple of HIS BODY.” (John 2:19-21).

And to show you the difference between the old temple and this new temple that Jesus is building. Let me add several more Scriptures to show different angles of the same mind of the Father.

“For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; and I will shake all nations, and the Desire [speaking of Jesus Christ] of all nations shall come: and I will fill THIS HOUSE with glory [the image of God], saith the LORD of hosts. The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts. The glory of this latter house [the church before Christ’s return] shall be GREATER than of the former [the church during the book of Acts], saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give PEACE, saith the LORD of hosts.” (Haggai 2:6-9).

“… I will build MY church; and the gates of hell [Gk: ‘hades, the unseen, the grave’] shall NOT prevail [be prevailing] against it.” (Matthew 16:18).

“Except the LORD build the house, they labor in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.” (Psalms 127:1).

Important Kingdom thought for today … For SUCCESS, ATTITUDE is as important as ABILITY … Your ALTITUDE is determined in part by your ATTITUDE. Life is an ATTITUDE, and the BEATITUDES is BLESSED ATTITUDE. The Key to SUCCESS is PERSEVERANCE and the key to perseverance is VISION. The key to vision is PURPOSE and the key to purpose is GOD!

The message and ministry of the Kingdom is the message and ministry of the KING. To understand the Kingdom, one must re-relate to the life-giving nature of the KING. And in this hour of corporate transition, as the saint’s move from a church mentality to a Kingdom mentality, humanity shall begin to witness the glory of the Kingdom in every sphere and facet of society. From government, education, economics, civil, entertainment, media, and throughout the normal everyday affairs of men, the Kingdom shall reign forever.

Truth is the Kingdom is NOW, not necessarily limited to a future agenda {Though there is a progressive ongoing and ever-revealing of HIS KINGDOM NOW, and beyond!!!} The Kingdom is not to be viewed as something in which we have to physically die in order to attain, but the Kingdom is a militant mandate to influence or change our world into HIS DOMINION, the first Great Commission of Genesis 1:26, 28.

A person who limits the Kingdom to the future, in the strictest sense, or postpones corporate Kingdom agenda through the saints for fear that the saints cannot possess the Kingdom is preaching a message foreign to the mind of God. To suggest or intimate that the Kingdom is an impossible task, or that our eschatology is too dismal and full of despair, is to admit defeatism which often sells in many Christian Bookstores as well.

According to 2 Corinthians 10:5 the spiritual authority of the saints is to cast down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the intimate knowledge {or intimate knowing} of God, bringing into captivity every thought into the obedience of Christ. However, there are other important considerations of this same passage.

On a play of words, I would like to bring to mind the term “Imagination” and review it like this, that “Imagination” carries two distinctly important terms. One is “Image,” and the other is “Nation.” Together, it could be paraphrased as “A Nation of Images.”
