Tell us a little bit about yourself. The before Christ, how did Christ call you, and where are you at with Christ today?

I grew up knowing about the Lord. I was taught how to pray at an early age. I always feel the need to help other children who have low self-esteem, who have been bullied, and have no place to turn. The Lord laid on my heart heavily that I should help kids. That’s when He gave me the vision to start my own organization, Y.E.S Kidz (Young, Equipped and Saved). At first, it was Kidz For Christ but I realized other organizations were using the name. Due to lack of resources I didn’t get serious about it until 5 yrs later in my late teens, when I heard the voice of God for the first time. I was crying myself to sleep asking God for help, so I wouldn’t sink deep in the traps of the enemy. After that I fully surrendered to God’s will and His way. Today I am saved, trying to stay on the right path, obeying His will, and changing myself daily to be all that I can be.

Who has He called you to reach, help, minister too, or serve in your business?

God has called me to show salvation to the lost kids and unloved souls that most youth are burdened by and to make Christianity fun, exciting, and inviting to young people. I also strive to help kids know Christ and to make Him known. My ministry is Y.E.S Kidz (Young, Equipped and Saved).

Our mission statement at Y.E.S Kidz is that we believe it’s always the right time to make a change and impact on the youth that are hungry for something more and yearn for something different. Y.E.S Kidz is a safe haven for kids, teens and young adults. It will allow one to know and get closer to God in a fun non-traditional, non-judgmental, and non-denominational way. This way we can reach out to the youth, encourage adults in difficult times, spread the Word of God and bring together unity in the young generation under God.

This organization will be a center for kids and young adults to go for support, counseling, and tutoring for kids who want to succeed in life. It will serve as a safe place for kids to stay after school to keep away from drama so that parents may feel at ease. There will also be a support system for women and men.

[Read/Study 1st Samuel 19:11-17]

By ReAsOn DiSciPLe

I was reading 1st Samuel 19:11-17 and it struck me that Michal, Saul’s daughter was more faithful to David then her own father. Which is funny to me because in Saul’s plans to harm David she was meant to be that success for Saul’s purposes. It seems to me that Michal became a strong ally and supportive wife to David over her dear old dad. Talk about the irony!

True Covenant Friendship is Rare By ReAsOn DiSciPLe

True Covenant Friendship is Rare

[Read/Study 1st Samuel 20:1-23]

By ReAsOn DiSciPLe

True friends are rare. We all know that. We have all heard the saying and all its different variations. Good friends are hard to find in the world. Even worse, they are even harder to find in the Body of Christ.

Now I LOVE the WHOLE body of Christ and I hardly doubt anyone who knows me would not doubt that. I love Christ and I love His wife (my mother, the mother of us all from above—the Church of the Living God). As far as the children (sons and daughters) of God, especially in the music ministry, finding people to team up with that are like minded in their approach on how to execute and advance Kingdom strategies is even harder.

“And Adam knew [Heb: ‘to be intimate (have sexual intercourse)’] Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.” (Genesis 4:1, KJV).

“Adam slept with Eve his wife. She conceived and had Cain. She said, ‘I’ve gotten a man, with God‘s help!’” (The Message).

We already talked a little bit about reproducing yourself in others, thus expanding your business a bit by adding new team members and pouring out all that you can about your business into them.

And we talked about building your family members as your first team members. The world usually teaches the opposite by saying that you should never mix business with family. But God only puts His children in the work and ministry of His Household. The key for that is for them to be MATURE before working for the Lord. That’s the real problem. They haven’t been disciples (PREPARED, TRAINED, EQUIPPED, EMPOWERED).

The Choice Between Two Women By ReAsOn DiSciPLe

The Choice Between Two Women

By ReAsOn DiSciPLe

It's LOVE week!

It’s LOVE week!

[Read/Study 1st Samuel 18:17-30]

Ah yes, it’s the week of Valentines again! Don’t you just love all the red and pink hearts everywhere? To be honest, I am not too fond of it. Don’t get me wrong. I love my wife. I am just not a fan of what we call “holidays.” Not Christmas, not Easter, not Birthdays, etc. I think the only holiday I actually celebrate and love doing it is Thanksgiving. I think mostly because I get to EAT! LOL!

Anyway, have you ever had to choose between two women (or two men for the women)? There are multiple stories in the Bible where certain characters in the Bible had to choose between two women. Here are some examples:

  • Abraham: Sarah and Hagar
  • Jacob: Leah and Rachel
  • Samson: Samson’s Wife & Delilah
  • Solomon: He had more than 2. He had 700!

Those are some of the ones that came off the top of my mind. I know there are many more than that. But today I want to talk about King David and his FIRST choice between two women. I believe David eventually had a total of 7 wives but in the beginning he was only given two options. They were …

  1. Merab, which means in Hebrew, “Increase. To cast together i.e. increase, especially in number; also to multiply by the myriad:–increase, be many, be manifold, be more, multiply, ten thousands.”
  2. Michal, which means in Hebrew, “Rivulet. Properly, a container, i.e. a streamlet:–brook.”

I don’t know if you know the whole story. These two ladies are both Saul’s daughters. Merab the first to be offered to David by Saul in an attempt to get him killed by the Philistines. Well it was more to lure him into being the king’s son in law so that he can control David and send him out to battle the Philistines.
